Administration Manager

About the role

This position requires someone with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. In addition to possessing good judgement and developed problem-solving skills, the Administration Manager must possess a high degree of initiative and interpersonal skills. This position requires a team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to work closely with our clients and staff to deliver quality results.

You will be responsible for the supervision of staff and participate in all administration and finance activities. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the primary objectives of this role are to:

  • Provide a full range of administration and accounts support including the overall day to day supervision and administration of all functions associated with the planning scheduling and invoicing of all courses and participants
  • Safeguard the company’s largest assets being inventory and debtors control; lead financial analysis and cost control; daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting as required (Administer Credit Control policy, ensuring compliance with procedures being followed by the team and internal departments)
  • Work with suppliers, clients and customers; responding to matters in question while delivering a high level of customer care
  • Oversee the Administration teams’ workloads, making changes when required, providing guidance, coaching and direction to team members and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Pursue continuous improvement practices, challenge processes and provide support throughout the business

This role would suit someone with:

  • Solid and current finance/account experience; demonstrated ability to plan, develop and implement a wide range of financial and administrative operations, activities and programs
  • Experience using database systems, enterprise resource or financial & records management systems
  • Understanding of data-based systems and demonstrated working knowledge of MYOB
  • Strong organisational skills, including demonstrated experience coordinating and working on multiple projects at once
  • High level of computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of the MS Suite
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and develop staff
    Ability to communicate effectively and influence internal and external customers – face-to-face, via email and over the phone
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in an RTO environment
  • An eye for detail and the desire to achieve 100% accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Proven experience and ability to work collaboratively and positively as a member in a consultative environment

Understanding of the ASQA and VET quality frameworks including the Standards for NVR RTO’s, AQF and the Data Provisions Requirements, as well as a current Certificate IV Training and Assessment would be desirable.

Curriculum and Development Manager

We are looking for a Curriculum and Development Manager to:

  • Determine and document appropriate curriculum design requirements relevant to the delivery mode (ie classroom, blended or online)
  • Work with SME’s to design, integrate and develop learning and assessment tools to meet specified unit and course learning outcomes
  • Use a range of learning approaches and technologies  to support training in a variety of environments
  • Ensure courses are appropriately designed for delivery through the Learning Management System and are consistent with AVELING’s standards
  • Manage other curriculum and course development staff
  • Provide guidance and support to trainers and assessors on the use of new or updated products
  • Perform quality control and verification of deliverables to requirements
  • Participate in validation of course and assessment reviews
  • Undertake other activities in relation to the courses delivered by AVELING, the quality of the syllabus, the delivery of the curriculum and overall student experience.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant degree and considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You will also need to have demonstrated ability in:

  • working effectively, independently and collaboratively in a high performing team to achieve project outcomes successfully and on time
  • writing highly interactive content using competency-based training material in a VET environment
  • proactively managing tasks involving collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • effectively collaborating with team members including Graphic Designers and Developers to design creative, innovative and highly interactive learning solutions.

Experience in the following will be essential:

  • Working with others to design and develop effective learning experiences for a broad audience
  • Developing professional learning and curriculum packages that incorporate the complete learning experience
  • Developing engaging learning approaches, with a particular focus on learning supported but innovative educational technologies

Have working experience in at least one of the below areas (Certificate IV, Diploma or higher):

  • Business,
  • Leadership and Management,
  • eLearning,
  • Safety, or
  • Training and Assessment

Qualifications

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is essential
  • Certificate IV, Diploma or higher in the VET sector
  • Relevant university degree in a related field

Instructional Designer

About the position

  • Developing training and assessment materials for nationally accredited and non-accredited courses (face to face, online and blended),
  • Writing e-learning scripts, creating storyboards, researching content and assist with developing the course,
  • Selecting and portraying audio, graphics, and other elements for course development,
  • Contributing to course outcomes by liaising with other project team members.

About you

In addition to a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment you will also need to be able to:

  • Work effectively with others in order to convey desired elements for course development,
  • Work independently or in a team to achieve project goals, while upholding the integrity of our course materials, and;
  • Maintain a ‘can do’ attitude while working to rapid changes in priorities and tasks, as dictated by customer needs / internal demands.
