AVELING is looking for a .NET Web Developer

We are looking for an experienced .NET Web Developer to join our E-Learning Division. You will work as part of a small development team in delivering online courses and other internal projects. This role will require you to have a very good understanding of the SDLC processes and the ability to work on your own, or as part of a team in producing quality deliverables.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• At least 2 years web development experience
• Strong web development experience with VB.NET
• Skill in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
• Experience using (and development for) MS SQL server 2000 and 2008 and stored procedures
• An excellent understanding of object oriented design and development
• An excellent understanding of SDLC
• The ability to follow procedures and apply standards (as applicable)
• A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• The ability to work with minimal supervision with a methodical approach
• The ability to participate in a motivated and dynamic team environment
• A thorough understanding and appreciation of business drivers
• The ability to set and achieve deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
