Overview

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is an engaging online course, using practical scenarios to cover relevant RSA laws, obligations and responsibilities. RSA training provides licensees, liquor serving staff and security employees with knowledge and awareness about the responsible service and consumption of liquor in premises where liquor is sold.

Completion of a Responsible Service of Alcohol course is mandatory in Tasmania for anyone who serves, supplies or sells alcohol on licensed premises. AVELING's course is valid in Tasmania and has been approved by Tasmania's Department of Treasury and Finance.

Staff who do not have the RSA qualification must be undertaking the course or be formally enrolled in it when they become employed. They must successfully complete the course within 3 months of commencing employment. More information can be found on Tasmania's Department of Treasury and Finance website.
