21/09/2007 Successful Delivery of Pilbara Iron Coastal Site Induction Refresher E-learning Course

AVELING is proud to announce the successful delivery of the Pilbara Iron Coastal Site Induction Refresher e-learning course. This delivery is the third in a set to be produced for Pilbara Iron and provides users with the ability to complete the site refresher course for Dampier Port Operations, Cape Lambert and Pannawonica (Mesa J) within the Pilbara Iron Intranet.

The refresher course is developed in Adobe Flash and uses the AVELING developed Pilbara Iron online course template to provide common functionality across all refresher courses.

Within the e-learning course, care was taken to create interactive content to maintain user engagement through the use of hot-spots to display specify information relating to the object selected, and interactive maps of each site using client provided aerial photographs and legend overlays.

The project took five weeks to develop and was successfully delivered within time and budget and to the customer's satisfaction.
