AVELING Participates in Movember
Movember is a charity event held during November each year where men register at the start of the month with a clean shaven face.
The participants have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustaches while raising as much money and awareness about male health issues as possible - specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.
AVELING organised a team of supporters to help change the face of men’s health for the third consecutive year.
The AVELING Movember participants known as Mo Bros, are as follow:
- Andrew Reid (Captain)
- Andrew Taylor
- Kevin Bounsell
- Laurent Tissoort
- Mark King
- Robert Harwood

About Movember
Men sporting Movember moustaches, known as Mo Bros, are walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November and through their actions they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the issue of men’s health.
Money raised in Australia is shared equally between programs targeting prostate cancer and male depression. The men’s health partners involved are the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, beyondblue – the national depression initiative and the Movember Foundation.
Together, the three channels work to ensure that Movember funds are supporting a broad range of innovative, world class programs in the fields of research, education, support, and awareness.
