The Mo Bros of AVELING: Movember 2011
AVELING has been a proud supporter of Movember and participated for the fourth year running in 2011.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in Australia and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.
On "Movember" 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, (known as Mo Bros), groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, (Mo Sistas), Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo growing efforts.

The team not only raised $1045 but also contributed to the awareness of male health issues including prostate cancer and depression.
"We’re really impressed with how generous everyone has been this year. To break $1000 of donations for just not shaving our upper lips is a pretty good month’s work for very worthy causes". said team captain, Andrew Reid.
So far, Movember Australia has raised over $17 million dollars in 2011 with the final total to be announced in 2012.
Movember may be over for another year but donations can still be made via the Movember website.
