AVELING/PCYC Charity Golf Tournament

AVELING proudly sponsored the 2011 Police and Community Youth Centres (PCYC) Charity Golf Tournament on Friday 16th December at the Royal Fremantle Golf Course.

The tournament attracted 66 people including a team from AVELING (pictured) as well as Rio Tinto, Retravision and SM Engineering.

The event raised over $14,000 for the PCYC. "The funds raised will enable PCYC to continue to deliver life-changing programs to youth-at-risk, giving them the opportunity for a brighter future. Many youth (the PCYC) help are victims of lack of opportunity. Due to fundraising events such as the Golf Tournament, (the PCYC) are able to continue to assist and guide these young people away from a potentially destructive lifestyle by providing an alternative pathway" said Sally Courboules, Marketing & Fundraising Manager - PCYC.
