Portfolio: Pilbara Iron

Client: Pilbara Iron

Project: Annual Environmental Refresher, Electrical Hazards Refresher and Coastal Induction E-learning Courses

Overview: Pilbara Iron contracted AVELING to create three e-learning Induction programs that would rapidly refresh learners' skills on the topics of electrical hazards, environmental protection and coastal site inductions.

The courses are developed using Pilbara Iron's existing training materials and integrate multimedia and assessment tools to enhance learners' overall training experience.

The course e-learning templates are designed to integrate into Pilbara Iron's new Learner Management System (LMS). The templates used across the three courses have common functionality and activities, but each has a unique colour scheme and branding, including:

  • A red interface for the Electrical Hazards Refresher
  • A green interface for the Annual Environmental Refresher, and
  • A blue interface for the Coastal Induction

To manage the training program and motivate learners, personal details are collected and used to create a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. View the Pilbara Iron Certificate of Completion here.
