Electrical Worker Competency and ARC Flash

Overview
The purpose of these courses is to ensure all electrical personnel remain current with changes to applicable electrical codes, technology and safe work practices. Content covered in these two courses includes the RTIO safe electrical work procedures, managing electrical hazards, arc flash hazards and selecting the correct arc Flash PPE.
Intended for
All electrical personnel working on RTIO sites, in order to safeguard against accidents causing injury to workers, other people or damage to property.
Companies must ensure a Training Request Form is provided prior to, or on the day of the induction, to ensure participants are issued their cards. Training is also conducted for clients ‘in-house' and Training Request Forms must be supplied for all inductions.
Rio Tinto Pre-requisites
There are no restrictions on entry to this course, however participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instruction. If you have special literacy requirements please advise at time of booking.
