Overview

Once a fire starts, every second counts.

This course provides the theory and practice needed to fight small fires using a portable fire extinguisher, fire hose reel and fire blanket.

Through innovative technology, participants will gain practical experience in using each type of equipment to extinguish real fires in a safe and controlled environment.

AVELING’s fire training simulator provides clean, safe and cost effective extinguisher training without dry chemicals or CO₂.

Intended for

Any individual who may need to operate fire equipment in their workplace, home or vehicle.

Mobile Fire - Group Training

This course can be modified to suit your work environment and conducted at our facilities or at your site and workplace.

We have a laser driven digital fire simulator with LED based digital flames, specifically made for indoor use. This is the perfect way to learn how to use fire fighting equipment and practice the correct techniques without having to leave the office.

Learning Outcomes

• Use portable fire extinguishers to extinguish a fire
• Demonstrate correct usage of a fire hose reel
• Demonstrate correct usage of a fire blanket

• PRMPFES05B Use portable fire fighting equipment
• PUAWER008B Confine small workplace emergencies

Certification

On successful completion of the practical and theory assessments, Statements of Attainment will be issued for the Units of Competency outlined above from the PRM04 and the PUA00 Training Package.

• Must bring identification
• Minimum dress requirements include long sleeves and closed-in shoes

Non-attendance or cancellation within two working days, will incur full cost.
