Overview
A Job Safety Analysis is a highly effective tool that can be used to examine a work task and identify the safest way to complete it.
The term Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is often used interchangeably with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or Risk Assessment.
This hands-on workshop is essential for employees who are involved in applying basic risk control processes and who need to understand how to perform a JSA or JHA successfully.
Intended for
Anyone who is required to perform a Job Safety Analysis or Job Hazard Analysis on any task in any workplace.
Learning Outcomes

- Assess risk and identify unacceptable risk
- Identify, assess and implement risk treatments
- Complete records and reports
Unit of Competency
- RIIRIS201A Conduct local risk control
Certification
On successful completion of the practical and theory assessments, a Statement of Attainment will be issued for the Unit of Competency outlined above from the RII09 Training Package.

- Minimum dress standard - neat casual, enclosed footwear and no singlets
