Overview

MARCSTA stands for Mining and Resource Contractors Safety Training Association. This one-day General Safety Induction provides essential training for people working in the Mining and Resource Industry.

AVELING’s accredited MARCSTA course is so much more than just an overview of mine safety laws and requirements. It is run by competent and helpful trainers who provide practical advice on how these laws and regulations apply to your staff and their jobs.

How current is your staff’s knowledge of safety legislation at the moment?

A MARCSTA certification needs to be refreshed every two years to ensure currency and retention of essential safety legislation and practices. A person has 90 days from the date of expiry of their induction to complete a half-day refresher course.

Intended For

Employees and contractors engaged in all safety surface operations at mines and other industrial workplaces.

As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:

• Access and apply site safety procedures
• Apply personal safety measures
• Apply operational safety measures
• Maintain personal wellbeing for job
• Identify and report incidents.

St John Ambulance First Aid Combination Discount

AVELING is pleased to offer a MARCSTA/Senior First Aid combo deal, in partnership with St John Ambulance.

By booking a General MARCSTA Induction with AVELING and a Senior First Aid course with St John Ambulance, we can offer considerable savings on each course. Senior First Aid courses must be booked directly with St John Ambulance on 9334 1233.

Cancellation Policy

PERTH, KARRATHA, WICKHAM: Non-attendance or cancellation within two (2) working days, will incur full cost.

Venue:	Bassendean and Victoria Park
Validity:	2 years
Fee:	$140.00 per person (GST free)
Dates:	Weekdays (including Saturday)

MARCSTA Refresher

Prerequisites

A MARCSTA certification needs to be refreshed every two years. Your staff can only attend the Refresher course after they have attended the MARCSTA course. They must bring their current card along to the Refresher course and the card must still be within 3 months of the expiry date.

Fee:	$105.00 per person (GST free)
