Mining Specific OHS

This course has been designed specifically for the mining industry and uses relevant case studies and mining terminology. It covers the OHS responsibilities of supervisors and managers, as well as how to implement Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Fees: $280.00 per person (GST on catering component only)

It is essential that team leaders are able to provide OSH information to their workgroup. An understanding of risk management and the duty of care requirements is an essential aspect in the provision of a safe workplace environment.

Participants can register to be assessed against the Unit of Competency BSBOSH407A Monitor a Safe Workplace. This involves an additional fee of $120, completion of a project in the workplace and submission of an assessment.
