Overview
This two-day course covers the skills and knowledge required to implement and apply risk management processes within an established system. It includes the application of local hazard identification, formal risk assessment and implementation of risk controls. Also covered is the monitoring of the system, reporting on implementation issues, communication of processes and systems, and the review and auditing of risk management.

Designed for organisations with groups of 6 or more people, this course is aimed at supervisors and managers who are required to carry out individual risk management jobs or lead teams that may need to carry out a risk assessment process.
The program consists of several different training methods which include:
- Theory Group discussion sessions
- Individual work case studies
- A workplace project
- Individual assessment of competence.
Participants can register to be assessed against the Unit of Competency MNMMMG516A Facilitate the Risk Management Process.
