Overview
This five-day Trainer and Assessor Skill Set is for people who want to become qualified at training and assessing without having to complete the full Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
A feature of our approach is the combination of key Units of Competency into courses or Skill Sets. The Skill Set offers a flexible pathway to obtain an accredited qualification. This reduces time away from the workplace, is cost effective and offers the benefit of immediate application of newly gained knowledge and skills.
This course is recommended for people who are required to train and assess within their organisation. They may be required to design and develop training materials, provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills or plan, organise and assess competence to meet organisation needs.

Assessment Only/Recognition of Prior Learning Pathway
People can apply for Assessment Only/Recognition of Prior Learning Pathway if they think they already have the experience relevant to the Unit of Competency or qualification. Please read the attached information to find out how the Assessment Only/RPL process works.
Pre-requisites
There are no restrictions on entry to these courses, however participants are required to have sound language, literacy, numeracy and computer skills. Participants will also need access to a workplace to enable completion of the learning and assessment activities.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel a booking for a course that runs for two or more days, 8 working days are required to enable a full refund, if between 4 and 7 working days a 50% fee will be incurred. Any cancellation less than 3 working days will incur full costs.
