It’s often not until you experience the Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) life firsthand that you can really understand the impact it can have on an individual, their family and friends.
That’s why we designed this program to prepare you for the FIFO lifestyle and the mental, social and logistical challenges that come with it.
Developed and delivered by an experienced former FIFO worker, Organisational Psychologist Dr Steve Brown, this program will provide you with the awareness and understanding of the challenges you might face, and ways to handle the ups and downs of the FIFO lifestyle.
You’ll explore key topics in this one day interactive workshop, in order to learn from psychological research, as well as real-life experience of those who have been there before you.
Mental health and the work-life balance factors that can impact your psychological well-being are some of the most important topics discussed in this course. You’ll learn tips and strategies to support your mental health both on-site and back home.
You’ll explore how to manage lifestyle changes, set goals and build personal development plans to ensure you can identify and prepare for challenges, and plan techniques to manage anything that comes your way.
Ensure your transition to FIFO is a successful one for you and your family with this important course.
