Understand what bullying is and how you can prevent and address it in the workplace.
Bullying can have enormous impacts on individuals, teams and entire organisations, with lost productivity, mental health impacts, and potential legal implications. It is important to identify and rectify any issues with bullying and harassment as soon as possible, as well as creating a culture that minimises this type of behaviour.
In this one-day interactive workshop we will explore what bullying is and is not, and how to identify bullying behaviours and the sometimes complicated reasons behind them.
You will learn ways to protect yourself from bullying, and know what to do if you are subject to bullying or harassment at work. You will also learn tactics to prevent bullying and understand what role you can play in minimising this type of behaviour, and helping others affected by it.
When a bullying or harassment incident occurs, you need to have a strategy and policy in place to address it. As part of this course, you will learn appropriate solutions for responding to an incident and how to assist in creating an anti-bullying policy.
This is a valuable course for anyone in a workplace to undertake, particularly if you are responsible for other people.
