The new Isolation Work Practice (IWP) has replaced the Isolation Regulations. The new work practice incorporates learnings from incident data and feedback from Rio Tinto Iron Ore and its industry partners. They exist to provide a set of procedures which will enable work to be performed safely.
The isolation theory courses we provide on behalf of Rio Tinto Iron Ore (WA) are as follows:
Lock Holder – 2.5 hours
Perth – $99.00 (incl. GST)
Karratha – $115.50 (incl. GST)
Personal Isolation Officer Theory – 2.5 hours
Perth – $88.00 (incl. GST)
Karratha – $115.50 (incl. GST)
Permit Isolation – 4 hours
Price on application for both Perth and Karratha.

The Rio Tinto Iron Ore (WA) induction courses are delivered in the classroom, over one day at our Jandakot training centre, 15 minutes from the Perth CBD.
Participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instruction. Special language, literacy and numeracy requirements should be advised at the time of booking.
