Did you know that people aged 55 and over make up roughly a quarter of the population but only 6% of the total workforce?

Here at AVELING we want to turn this stat around by offering unemployed over 50s access to AVELINGs suite of online courses for FREE, before they become a statistic!

Including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Awareness, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and SITSS00051 Food Safety Supervision, AVELING are offering over 70 free online courses which can help unemployed over 50s get back into the workforce.

This initiative has been instigated by Tony Aveling, CEO of AVELING, who is keen to support this often undervalued section of the community. As a keen employer of the over 50s himself, Tony is very much aware of the experience this demographic can bring in terms of time spent at the coalface of day to day working life, combined with vital mentorship and a strong sense of mature thinking which can make them an invaluable addition to any workforce.

AVELING are a keen supporter of several charity organisations including Oz Harvest and Shalom House, but this new project will be the first time that we have given away the full suite of online courses to individuals.

The free training is available to anyone who is over 50 years of age and is also currently unemployed. Places are limited and will be offered until the end of June 2019.

If you are over 50 years of age and would like to access the free courses, please view our range of online courses here and follow the below instructions to access your courses.
