Jeans for Genes was established in 1994 by The Children’s Medical Research Institute to fund revolutionary research that helps diagnose, understand, and find cures or treatments for conditions affecting children, including all genetic diseases.

Genetic diseases are one of the leading causes of death in kids under four and research into this area is urgently needed.

The team at AVELING are proud to support the iconic fundraising campaign of The Children’s Medical Research Institute – Jeans for Genes Day.

As well as having the chance to purchase a variety of Jeans for Genes merchandise, AVELING staff also had the opportunity to swap their usual corporate wear for jeans in return for a charity donation to Jeans for Genes.

With the Western Derby taking place this weekend, many staff members also took the chance to wear their AFL team colours along with their jeans to show support for their favourite team. Let’s just hope everyone is still speaking after the big match!
