Mental Health for FIFO Workers and Managers

This course is delivered in the classroom, at our Jandakot training centre, 15 minutes from the Perth CBD.

You will take part in engaging discussion and acivities throughout the day, as you explore the topics presented by our expert trainer.

There are no assessments as part of this course, but you will be expected to participate during the day to get the most out of this course.

Participants will be better able to understand:

• The FIFO work pattern and its challenges
• Mental health risk factors for FIFO workers and their families
• Planning for FIFO and preventing problems from escalating
• Resources available to support mental health for FIFO

It is expected that learners applying to this course at Aveling meet the following requirements:

• Over 16 years of age (if under 18 we require parent or guardian permission)
• Professional working proficiency in English
