Once a fire starts, every second counts. Learn how to safely and effectively respond to a fire using a fire extinguisher, fire hose reel and fire blanket.
Through innovative technology, you will gain practical experience in extinguishing real fires in a safe environment.
Aveling’s fire training simulator provides a clean, safe and cost-effective fire training environment without the use of dry chemicals or CO2.
You will have the opportunity to extinguish live flames by learning the procedures to roll out, discharge and wind up fire hose reels, and utilise a fire blanket.
You will also gain the necessary theoretical knowledge to classify types of fires and select appropriate portable firefighting equipment.
While this course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to operate simple firefighting equipment whether at work or home, it is particularly recommended for employees and Health and Safety Representatives.
Please note: Learners are required to wear enclosed footwear, a long sleeved shirt, and trousers made of non-flammable material.
