This course is non-accredited so there are no formal assessments.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the legislative requirements of the Health and Safety Act (WHS/OSH)
- Understand the employer’s and worker’s duty of care responsibilities
- Identify and report incidents
- Access and apply safety procedures
- Select, use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Administer safety management tools such as a Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Follow standards of behaviour and conduct
To successfully complete this course, you will need to have proficiency in reading and writing in English, as well as basic computer skills.
You also require access to a computer and the internet in order to access our online Learning Management System.
