Indigenous Literacy Day 2024

Today we were excited to celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day by hosting our own Great Book Swap event to raise fund for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF).

We had a wonderful selection of books, and it was a lovely opportunity to find a book or two and have a chat about our favourite reads!

Thank you to all who have donated to this great cause! The remaining selection of books will be in the Whistling Eagle Café until the end of the week.

Donations help provide books, books in First Languages, and learning resources to children and families living in remote Communities across Australia.
