Aveling offers free services to support you through the assessment process of your Nationally Recognised course or qualification.

Some learners find that they need extra support to understand the course material or assessment requirements, or just some dedicated time where they can complete their written assessments.

Our group support workshops are optional sessions where learners come to our Jandakot venue and have the opportunity to ask questions or just work on their assessments alongside their fellow learners, with a trainer on hand for support.

Support workshops

Two-hour group support workshops facilitated by Aveling trainers and assessors are run regularly at our Jandakot venue. 

Three (3) support workshop sessions are included for free with each Nationally Recognised course you are enrolled in.*  

Additional support can be arranged, if needed, at a cost of at $120 per hour.

*Limit of 3 sessions per learner per Nationally Recognised course enrolment applies to enrolments made as of 1 January 2024.

Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)

Ahead of your first Aveling course, you will be required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) survey.

If enrolling in online delivery, this will be done as part of the enrolment process; if enrolling for in-class delivery, the survey will be emailed to you upon enrolment and must be submitted and reviewed prior to attending the program.

Based on the outcome of the survey, Aveling may contact you to discuss options that will best suit your individual learning needs. Please note that additional costs may be incurred if literacy support is required.
