The below are funding opportunities we have collated that may help provide financial relief to individuals and employers looking to undertake training. Please note that these forms of funding are not managed, supported or endorsed by Aveling. For more information including eligibility, please follow the links provided.

Construction Training Fund

If you work in Western Australia’s building and construction industry, you may be eligible for Construction Training Fund (CTF) funding to help reduce the cost of your training.

CTF is a Western Australian Government statutory authority that provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry.

Train Smarter. Pay Less.

Eligible construction industry workers and employers may be able to access funding towards approved training, including:

  • Qualifications
  • Individual units of competency
  • Short courses and skills development training

For eligible training delivered in the Perth metropolitan area, CTF rebates may cover up to 70% of the course cost, subject to applicable hourly rates and funding caps. Different rates may apply to training delivered regionally.

Qualifications Eligible for CTF Funding

CTF recognises a range of higher qualifications for funding. Eligible learners undertaking the following Aveling qualifications may be able to claim a CTF subsidy:

  • BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
  • BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

Funding eligibility and the amount available depend on the learner, course delivery and current CTF requirements.

Claim Funding for Your WA White Card

Complete your WA White Card training with Aveling and, if you meet CTF eligibility requirements, you may be able to claim a rebate following successful completion of the course.

This can help reduce the out-of-pocket cost of obtaining the training required to work on construction sites in Western Australia.

Who Can Apply?

CTF funding is available to eligible workers and employers within Western Australia’s building and construction industry.

Eligibility depends on factors including the participant’s employment and involvement in WA construction work, the training undertaken and current CTF funding requirements.
