Digital Marketing Coordinator

As we continue to grow the Aveling brand and diversify our extensive online and classroom course portfolio, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

You will report to the Marketing Manager, bringing your creative ideas, tactical knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to help build our marketing efforts and take Aveling’s brand awareness to the next level.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Ongoing maintenance of and reporting on Google AdWords campaigns and website analytics
  • Building and maintaining AVELING’s social media presence across various platforms
  • Website content review & development
  • Supporting the development and implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all marketing activities
  • Undertaking regular market research on customers, competitors, and industries
  • Maintaining and enhancing CRM data
  • Ensuring consistent application of the Aveling brand
  • Supporting all stages of production of Aveling’s marketing materials including web pages, e-newsletters and other digital and print collateral
  • Supporting in coordination of events and other public relations activities.

Key attributes:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing (with a strong digital focus) AND at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role; or 3-5 years’ full-time experience in a similar role
  • Proven knowledge and experience in WordPress (or similar), SEO, Google Analytics (or similar) and AdWords
  • Proficiency in social media marketing
  • Campaign management experience including understanding, planning and developing briefs
  • Relevant design and copy writing experience across a variety of platforms
  • A highly driven customer focus with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and self-direction.

Experience in and an understanding of the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector will be advantageous.

Quality Assurance Administrator

About the role

In this diverse role you will be a part of the Quality Assurance team, reporting to the QA Manager. You will be working with people across the organisation, including developers, marketers, trainers, and assessors to assist in delivering high quality training and assessment services for our clients. You will also be responsible for providing quality customer service to both internal and external customers in the provision of administrative support.

About you

  • Experience in a similar quality assurance role in an RTO environment
  • A solid understanding of the VET Quality Framework including the Standards for Registered Training Organisations,
  • Knowledge of auditing/QA systems and processes to ensure they are implemented, followed, and meet regulatory requirements,
  • The ability to assist with process improvement across all aspects of compliance and quality,
  • The ability to collate, analyse and submit reports by required due dates,
  • Experience participating in validation activities, internal and external audits,
  • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 would be highly recommended but is not essential.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011) or willingness to obtain,
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills,
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

WHS Trainer and Assessor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced WHS trainer and assessor to deliver and assess qualifications that are relevant to the needs of industry and to ensure that learners develop job ready skills.

The position involves contributing to the continuous improvement of course materials as well as validation and moderation of learning and assessment.

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate broad experience in training and assessment practice, as well as a strong understanding of the compliance aspects of working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The ability to communicate simply and effectively with lots of different stakeholders is a must.

You will work within the Quality Assurance team to deliver safe, compliant and effective training.

Main responsibilities of the roles include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting training and assessment of qualifications within area of expertise
  • Engaging with learners to provide support through regular contact via phone, email or support workshops
  • Providing expert advice for areas within scope of expertise
  • Applying industry specific knowledge and experience to prepare, deliver, assess and evaluate training programs for learners
  • Involvement in the development and continuous improvement of training initiatives and materials
  • Maintaining learner records and ensuring best practice in relation to compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement and evaluation of training and assessment resources through validation processes
  • Ensuring qualifications and vocational skills are maintained
  • Maintaining commitment to ongoing professional development including strong links with industry
  • Providing quality customer service within a training environment
  • Developing flexible and innovative modes of delivery, focusing on appropriate adult learning techniques and group facilitation
  • Ensuring timely administration of learner results and other administrative requirements
  • Participating in the conduct of training needs analysis and skills audits
  • Assisting to build a culture that recognises diversity, flexibility and inclusiveness to enhance the quality of education and training
  • Ensuring compliance with EEO and WHS policies and legislation requirements including actively promoting an equitable, safe and healthy working environment.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Qualifications

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, including the unit TAELLN411 or higher
  • BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

Knowledge and experience

  • Current industry experience in the relevant field
  • 3-5 years experience delivering nationally recognised training and assessment for an RTO
  • Experience delivering relevant and engaging training to a diverse range of students
  • Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations RTOs 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Sound knowledge and experience in using student management systems.
