Compliance Officer

About the position

We are looking for an experienced and client focused part-time or full-time Compliance Officer for a six to 12 month contract to contribute to all aspects of compliance and quality assurance throughout our training organisation.

About you

In this diverse role you will be working with people across the organisation, including developers, marketers, trainers and assessors, to assist in delivering high quality training and assessment services for our clients. You will also be responsible for providing quality customer service to both internal and external customers in the provision of administrative support.

We are seeking applicants with:

Experience preferably in an RTO compliance environment in:
Providing feedback for continuous improvement of training packages, programs and resources.
Reviewing training and assessment to ensure compliance to relevant units of competence and qualifications.
A good awareness of ASQA General Directions and the VQF Standards
Knowledge of auditing/QA systems and processes to ensure they are implemented, followed and meet regulatory requirements,
Strong interpersonal skills,
Ability to assist with process improvement across all aspects of compliance and quality,
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills,
Ability to collate, analyse and submit reports by required due dates,
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills,
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116)
You will also need to be a highly driven customer focused person who loves deadlines and details, and works well as part of a team.

Instructional Designer – 3 month contract

In addition to a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment you will also need to be able to:
Work effectively with others in order to convey desired elements for course development,
Work independently or in a team to achieve project goals, while upholding the integrity of our course materials, and;
Maintain a ‘can do’ attitude while working to rapid changes in priorities and tasks, as dictated by customer needs / internal demands.

Senior Instructional Designer

Research course content, including identifying and working with subject matter experts to ensure content reflects current industry practice and the needs of our clients,
Work to maintain ‘quality assurance’ processes of the company as well as apply knowledge of emerging and best practice learning and design principles when developing training aids,
Maintain a ‘can do’ attitude while working to rapid changes in priorities and tasks, as dictated by customer needs / internal demands.

Curriculum and Development Manager

About the position

We are looking for a Curriculum and Development Manager to:

Determine and document appropriate curriculum design requirements relevant to the delivery mode (ie classroom, blended or online)
Work with SME’s to design, integrate and develop learning and assessment tools to meet specified unit and course learning outcomes
Use a range of learning approaches and technologies to support training in a variety of environments
Ensure courses are appropriately designed for delivery through the Learning Management System and are consistent with AVELING’s standards
Manage other curriculum and course development staff
Provide guidance and support to trainers and assessors on the use of new or updated products
Monitor, assess and upskill trainers
Perform quality control and verification of deliverables to requirements
Participate in validation of course and assessment reviews
Undertake other activities in relation to the courses delivered by AVELING, the quality of the syllabus, the delivery of the curriculum and overall student experience.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant degree and considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You will also need to have demonstrated ability in:

Working effectively, independently and collaboratively in a high performing team to achieve project outcomes successfully and on time
writing highly interactive content using competency-based training material in a VET environment
proactively managing tasks involving collaboration with multiple stakeholders
effectively collaborating with team members including Graphic Designers and Developers to design creative, innovative and highly interactive learning solutions.
Experience in the following will be essential:

Working with others to design and develop effective learning experiences for a broad audience
Developing professional learning and curriculum packages that incorporate the complete learning experience
Developing engaging learning approaches, with a particular focus on learning supported but innovative educational technologies
Qualifications

A current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (including LLN unit) is essential
Further qualifications and experience in ISO 9001 data control and coordination would be highly regarded.
