Training Services Advisor

The role:

We are looking for an experienced and client focused Training Services Advisor to maintain a high standard of training effectiveness and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and reviewing all associated training and support systems across the organisation
  • Adhering to the requirements of governing bodies through collaboration with the Compliance team
  • Organising validation and auditing of all AVELING trainers to maintain delivery and assessment processes to legislative and RTO standards
  • Driving continuous improvement processes
  • Ensuring trainer and assessor records are kept current including qualifications, insurances and contracts
  • Onboarding and induction of new trainers
  • Collaborating with the training delivery team to improve the skills and product knowledge of AVELING staff
  • Providing a high level of customer service to clients, internal staff and external organisations and agencies

About you:

We are seeking applicants with:

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the ASQA and VET quality frameworks including Standards for NVR RTO’s, AQF and the Data Provisions Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of client requirements for the development and delivery of training
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven high level of attention to detail

Instructional Designer

The Role:

Our training solutions are highly regarded, and you could make a real contribution to our team by:

  • Developing and writing training and assessment materials for nationally recognised and non-nationally recognised courses (face to face, online and blended)
  • Updating existing training materials
  • Researching course content and engaging with industry
  • Consulting with relevant stakeholders to ensure materials are compliant and industry appropriate.

About you:

In addition to a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) you will also need to be able to:

  • Unpack training packages and units of competency to develop compliant, nationally recognised training and assessment materials
  • Research course content, to ensure content reflects current industry practice and the needs of our clients
  • Understand the Standards for RTOs for 2015, interpret Unit of Competency requirements, and apply these skills to develop training and assessments for individual units and qualifications
  • Develop the full suite of course materials, including course manuals, assessments, training and assessment strategies, RPL packs, facilitator guides, mapping etc.
  • Demonstrate strong English language skills, with experience in writing course materials and assessment
  • Work effectively within a strong team environment, both individually and in collaboration with others to create resources for course development
  • Be adaptable, tech savvy and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Business Development Manager (BDM)

The Role:

Working with existing and prospective clients you will interpret business needs and translate them into workforce solutions. You will be responsible for retaining and growing existing client accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the transaction to a mutually acceptable close.

You will understand AVELING’s product and service offering in detail, developing customer relationships through a consultative approach and building trust and confidence in AVELING’s capabilities through demonstration of detailed service knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate.

In this role you will:

  • Act as an AVELING Ambassador and engage with the business community to develop relationships and grow our business
  • Provide input on the strategic direction for business development for the company
  • Identify AVELING’s unique selling points using knowledge of the market and competitors
  • Manage and execute business development activities to meet KPI’s and achieve growth targets
  • Ensure client feedback is used effectively to review and continuously improve business processes and offerings
  • Prepare and/or advise on quotations, proposals and tender responses as required
  • Contribute to the marketing plan as required
  • Contribute to and support the organisation’s objective in providing a high level of training services to the market
  • Liaise with AVELING’s product development team to facilitate the development of bespoke online and blended learning courses to meet client needs
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients, internal staff and external organisations and agencies

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven recent success in sales and client management
  • Proven recent experience in engaging with industry to build collaborative, solutions-based partnerships
  • Experience in business development activities in learning and development, preferably in an RTO environment
  • Experience in a similar role within the training services and E-Learning industry
  • Ability to leverage from strong professional connections/networks
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement business plans, proposals and tender responses
