Understand your role and responsibilities in keeping yourself and others safe in the workplace.
Our Health and Safety at Work training course will help you understand your role and responsibilities in keeping yourself and others safe in the workplace.
Presented in a short online induction, you’ll explore the legal framework around work health and safety (WHS) and duty of care, as well as consultation, representation, and communication.
You’ll understand how the Work Health Safety Act (2020) outlines your rights and responsibilities when it comes to health and safety at work. You’ll also learn about reporting procedures, how accidents are investigated, and the role of regulatory bodies in ensuring workplace safety.
Both you and your employer have a responsibility to take reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of everyone at work. In this course you’ll learn how to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures. It’s important to report incidents, near misses, and potential hazards so that they can be addressed promptly. By prioritising safety and looking out for each other, you can create a safer work environment.
Lastly, we’ll cover consultation, representation, and communication. Effective communication is key to maintaining a safe workplace. You’ll learn about the importance of open dialogue and reporting mechanisms.
Our General Health and Safety Responsibilities Awareness Training will provide you with valuable knowledge and skills to contribute to a safe and healthy working environment.
