With the implementation of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act (2020), Aveling has developed the Statutory Supervisor course, and Supervise on-site operations course to satisfy associated legislated requirements.
If you are looking for BHP’s required contract supervisor units; BHP has reviewed the Units of Competency (UOCs) required for BHP contract supervisors being mobilised for Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO). As of April 2023, BHP’s requirements have changed to:
- RIIBEF402 – Supervise on-site operations
- BSBWHS411- Implement and monitor the WHS policies, procedures and programs
- BSBWHS414 – Contribute to WHS risk management or RIIRIS402 – Carry out the risk management process
