This course is delivered in the classroom, over one day at our Jandakot training centre, 15 minutes from the Perth CBD.
You will take part in engaging discussion and acivities throughout the day, as you explore the topics presented by our expert trainer.
Topics covered in this course include:
- The value of working as a team
- How to develop team norms, ground rules, and team contracts
- Their team player style and how it can be used effectively
- Ways to build team trust
- The stages of team development and how to help a team move through them
- The critical role communication skills will play in building and maintaining a team atmosphere
- Ways that team members can be involved and grow in a team setting
There are no assessments as part of this course, but you will be expected to participate during the day to get the most out of this course.
It is expected that learners applying to this course at Aveling meet the following requirements:
- Over 16 years of age (if under 18 we require parent or guardian permission)
- Professional working proficiency in English
